Electrical Technician- Cast

Responsibilities

* Complete preventative maintenance duties• Installation and repair of equipment• Troubleshoot equipment failures• Analyze data• Support Shift Electricians• Long term project work• Process improvements/upgrades

Qualifications

Required:

Excellent safety record, communication skills, and a self-starting motivated work ethic. An excellent attendance history with demonstrated troubleshooting and data analysis skills. Experience which includes knowledge of hydraulic systems, pneumatic systems, electrical systems, PLC's, and VFD's. Knowledge and understanding of electrical principles and electronics, diagnostic skills, proficient with electrical instruments including hand and power tools, and experience reading electrical and mechanical drawings. Ability to work with shift electricians and millwrights, operators, and contractors. Able to design and implement projects and process improvements/upgrades. Training and/or Technical/Engineering degree(s) preferred.
