ABOUT US At The Breakfast Club we are an influencer café where vloggers and social media stars come to socialize. Located right in the heart of Hollywood at 1600 Vine, The Breakfast Club will be at the forefront of influencer culture. The 7500 square foot restaurant will feature a fast casual breakfast restaurant, seating plan that can be booked in advance, and a small film studio for verified creators to use. Open daily from early morning until late-night, The Breakfast Club will be top of the list of places to visit for tourists experiencing Hollywood as well as a beacon for locals looking for a late-night bite, a leisurely brunch or a creative and vibrant spot to enjoy a meal and keep connected to their favorite social media platforms. Lastly, the menu, created by iconic chef and restaurateur Jason Neroni of Rose Café fame, and the cocktail menu crafted by the acclaimed mixologist from Bar Lab, elevate the entire restaurant experience. POSITION SUMMARY The Barista is passionate about the food and beverage industry and enjoys working with people. The Barista plays a key role in our energetic team of food and beverage enthusiasts who are driven to provide excellent customer service serving made to order beverages and pastries. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Essential Functions Statement(s) The following list is not inclusive of additional responsibilities that may be requested by restaurant management. • Welcoming and greeting customers. • Preparing and selling coffee and specialty coffee products by following the proper procedures and recipes for various coffee drinks. • Ordering, receiving and stocking retail products and stock supplies. • Ringing orders and presenting checks • Opening and closing duties • Sanitizing and cleaning utensils, work areas and equipment. • Serving and preparing foods. • Grinding, weighing and packing coffee beans for customers. • Prompt and friendly customer service. QUALIFICATIONS Competency Statement(s) • Communication- Professional oral and written communication skills. SKILLS, ABILITIES & EXPERIENCE Experience: Two (2) years related experience.
