KBR is looking for an Electrical & Instrumentation Superintendent responsible for the co-ordination and supervision of works performed by the electrical and instrumentation contractor's site activities for their given scope of work; including ensuring work is performed in a safe and efficient manner to a satisfactory standard that meets the requirements of the Project.

Position is located at a client site in Marshall, Minnesota.

* Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident*

Functional job responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

* Providing direction, and support for Contractors.


* Coordinating construction activities and subcontractors to ensure no interface problems arise.


* Monitoring, expediting, and supervising all contractor activities.


* Ensuring satisfactory operations and maintenance of all temporary facilities.


* Ensuring all work is carried out in accordance with HSE requirements, and that only trained experienced operators are used on critical works.


* Promoting a safe working environment on site with subcontractor personnel to ensure all HSE goals are achieved.


* Ensuring all work is carried out in accordance with the Quality requirements.


* Evaluating Contractor's, competencies, procedures and work processes.


* Ensuring Contractor's staffing and competencies are maintained throughout the construction phase.


* Ensuring Contractor's operates a field construction quality surveillance program as per approved quality manual/plans.


* Reviewing Contractor's method statements to ensure work will be performed in a controlled safe manor.


* Ensuring Non-Conformance Reports and/or Technical Assurance Alerts are raised as appropriate; and


* Reviewing Contractor's ITP's and verifying the required minimum level of inspection points have been identified for each equipment type.


* Maintains a safe, and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures, complying with legal regulations.


* Participating in technical problem resolutions during construction where required.


* Attending project meetings where required to do so.


* Carrying out daily reviews of construction activity.


* Providing input to monthly construction quality report as appropriate.


* Providing input for site-wide construction quality KPI's


* Maintaining daily log of construction activities.



Required Education, Experience, & Skills (MUST MATCH THE PROFILE CODE - DELETE WHEN POSTING):

* Degree preferred but not required.


* 10+ years of experience required.


* Relevant site Quality Assurance experience
