Your day as a Class B CDL Driver

As a Class B CDL Driver at Hanover Iron Works, Inc., you will embark on an exhilarating journey where no two days are the same. You will start your day at our Richmond, VA location, where you will be provided with all the tools and resources needed to succeed. Your primary responsibility will be to operate our fleet of vehicles and ensure the timely and accurate delivery of our products to our valued customers. You will carefully load and unload materials, following all safety protocols to maintain a secure and efficient work environment.

In this fast-paced role, you will also interact with customers, providing exceptional service and representing the company's commitment to customer-centricity. Attention to detail and excellent communication skills will be essential as you maintain accurate records and verify shipment quality. To excel as a Class B CDL Driver at Hanover Iron Works, Inc., you will need a unique set of skills and abilities. First and foremost, a valid Class B CDL license is essential, along with a clean driving record and a passion for safety. You should have a strong understanding of traffic rules and regulations to ensure adherence and prevent accidents.

Being a customer-centric company, excellent communication skills are a must. You will interact with customers regularly, delivering a positive and professional experience. Strong organizational skills will help you effectively plan routes, optimize deliveries, and ensure timely arrivals.
