As a Senior Clinical Project Lead in Alcon's Clinical Research and Development team, this individual contributes, with appropriate oversight, to all aspects of global clinical trial(s) to deliver study outcomes within schedule, budget, quality/compliance and performance standards. They may lead specific aspects of global clinical trial(s). The Senior Clinical Project Lead is a leader of the Clinical Sub Team and a core member of the Clinical Trial Team. They contribute to operational excellence through process improvement and knowledge sharing. In this role, a typical day will include:

● Leading projects leveraging and generating clinical data and developing clinical content from these activities

● Providing clinical expertise to multinational regulatory submissions, including managing EuMDR clinical strategy and approvals

● Implementing and preparing the clinical development strategy as outlined by the clinical teams for new product development

● Gathering input from cross-functional teams and creating plans that help the team produce deliverables on schedule

● Monitoring progress and following up with team members and line managers when issues develop

● Planning, directing, creating, and communicating clinical study timelines

● Ensuring consistency of clinical study and processes across clinical trials

● Ensuring study is conducted within clinical trial protocols

● Overseeing and resolving operational aspects of clinical trials in conjunction with project teams and in accordance with standard operating procedures (SOP), good clinical practice (GCP) and specific country regulations

● Participating in data analysis, interpretation and synthesis, instruction in order to develop Clinical study report and /or support development of scientific publications including peer reviewed manuscripts in partnership with external key opinion leaders (KOLs)

WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO ALCON:

● Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent years of directly related experience (or high school+15 yrs; Assoc.+11 yrs; M.S.+4 yrs; PhD+3 yrs)

● 7 Years of Relevant Experience

● The ability to fluently read, write, understand, and communicate in English.

● Travel Requirements: 20% Domestic and International

● Work Location: Ft. Worth, Texas, US
