SUMMARY: The Sr. Staff Accountant will primarily assist with creating and analyzing financial reports, process accounts receivables, payables, payroll, financial reporting, daily accounting functions and processes to help meet the company's business goals.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

* Execute and perform journal entries and account reconciliations for one or more business units.
* Ensure proper Fixed Asset management for the entire company.
* Finalize monthly financial statements for review.
* Assist auditors during annual audits with a strong emphasis on SOX compliance.
* Perform month-end close procedures and journal entries.
* Finalize monthly financial statements for review.
* Maintain files and documentation thoroughly and accurately, in accordance with company policy and accepted accounting practices.
* Performs other duties as assigned or required.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

* Bachelor's degree or equivalent
* At least 5 years of Staff Accounting experience
* OR an additional 3 years' accounting experience in lieu of degree
* Knowledge of accounting principles and practices
* Proficiency using various software, mainly Microsoft Office
* Strong Microsoft Excel skills
* Ability to build effective working relationships
* Ability to read and write at a proficient level
* Ability to adapt to fast-paced environment and changing business priorities

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS

* 9+ years of Staff Accounting experience
* Sarbanes Oxley experience
