* Location: Methodist Medical Center - 990 Oak Ridge Turnpike, Oak Ridge, TN 37830. Note: online applications accepted only.
* Schedule: Full time schedule. Monday through Friday, 7:00 am - 3:00 pm. More details upon interview.
* Requirement: Previous excel experience preferred. Willing to train
* Pay Range: $18.00 to $20.00

Job Summary

Summary: Provide support in a multitude of way to a Company executive in order to enhance the Companyâ??s effectiveness and best service Company clients and employees.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

* Welcomes guests and customers by greeting them, in person or on the telephone; answering or directing inquiries.
* Maintains executive's appointment schedule by planning and scheduling meetings, conferences, teleconferences, and travel.
* Attend meetings in the executive's absence and delivering and receiving messages on executiveâ??s behalf.
* Conserves executive's time by reading, researching, and routing correspondence; drafting letters and documents; collecting and analyzing information; initiating telecommunications.
* Produces information by transcribing, formatting, inputting, editing, retrieving, copying, and transmitting text, data, and graphics.
* Provides historical reference by developing and utilizing filing and retrieval systems; recording meeting discussions.
* Maintains customer confidence and protects operations by keeping information confidential.
* Prepares reports by collecting and analyzing information.
* Completes projects by assigning work to clerical staff; following up on results.
* Secures information by completing data base backups.
* Maintains and verifies office supplies inventory.
* Ensures operation of equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs; maintaining equipment inventories; evaluating new equipment and techniques.
* Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
* Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
* Performs other duties as assigned.
