Job Description

Position Summary:

This position is responsible for running reports for Health Plans (such as ODAGs, Part C and Inpatient Logs). The analyst is familiar with the terminology and specifications for health plan compliance reporting and designs reports per those specifications. Excellent attention to detail and the ability to consistently produce accurate work are essential in this position. The analyst uses SQL to extract data from our warehouse servers and Excel and SSRS to format and automate the reports.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

  • Produces a high volume of monthly, quarterly and ad hoc reports for the health plans
  • Develops report specific formats per templates provided by health plans, including ODAGS, part C, Denial logs, Inpatient referral universes.
  • Utilizes SQL code, SSRS and Excel to extract, format and report data
  • Updates our existing SQL code library to accommodate changing specifications from the plans as well as internal company work flows.
  • Scrubs source data to ensure accuracy of final reporting output
  • Automates report generation by developing and scheduling SSRS reports
  • Manages multiple projects by effectively prioritizing work and communicating workload issues to management
  • Responsive to end-user requests for customization of existing reports
  • Communicates effectively with all levels of the organization
  • Produces accurate work under tight deadlines
  • Works collaboratively with fellow team members
  • Other duties as assigned

The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between $75,000 and $90,000/year; however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, licensure, skills, and experience.

The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a sign-on bonus and discretionary awards in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered.

If hired, employee will be in an "at-will position" and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.

Requirements

Education and / or Experience:

  • 3+ years of experience in a healthcare organization
  • 3+ years of experience producing and analyzing compliance reports for submissions to health plans
  • High level of proficiency in Excel.
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritize work and manage competing deadlines
  • Ability to follow instructions accurately
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • A strong personal work ethic
  • Excellent critical thinking skills
  • Bachelor's degree from a four-year college is preferred
