Maintenance Planner / Scheduler

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 10 hour shifts with on-call requirements
Pay Range: $27 - $29 an hour, depending on experience
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
* Review, coordinate and assign crafts/resources to daily work authorization in the assigned maintenance system, and collaborate with additional craft resources and supervisors for scheduling work.
* Create sketches, drawings, and bill of material for miscellaneous work. Pipe, Pump, Structural, civil, Building, Heavy Equipment, and Vehicle repairs.
* Act as liaison with other department supervisors, planners and schedulers for scope & procedure procurement
* Ensures proficient operations of some or all of the following software: AutoCAD, Excel, Word, Outlook, Microsoft Project, assigned maintenance system, and MicroStation.
* Identify resources and cost estimates to specific job tasks.
* Order MTL and/or other special materials when required.
* Verify drawings and approval sign-offs for in-kind equipment replacement.
* Interact with the purchasing department on all bid items for material specifications and weld procedures.
* Confirm field verification and dimensional checks on in-kind equipment replacements to verify conformance to specifications.
* Identify the necessary tools, materials, and resources needed to complete a pre-identified task and create daily work scopes.
* Ensure management is fully informed of any potential shortfalls/problems in daily assignments.
* Work overtime and cover on-call duties as needed.
* Completes any other duties that may be assigned to complete the job.
Preferred Job Qualifications:
* Experience as an instrument tech in construction is a plus but not required
* Trade school or journeyman/craftsman training, NCCER, or bachelor's degree is a plus but not required
Minimum Job Qualifications:
* Must highly detailed oriented
* Valid Driver's License and a valid TWIC card
* 18 years or older and legally able to work in the U.S.
* Pass a drug screen, physical, and background check
* Previous military experience and proven ability to follow procedures is a plus.
