Job description

Main Purpose

Tradebe is searching for experienced candidates for the position of Credit & Collections Specialist to ensure collection on customer accounts in a timely manner. This position also makes recommendations for process improvement. The selected candidate will be accountable for the following responsibilities and possess these qualifications.

* Collections & collection notes
* Customer holds
* New customer account set up
* Customer Credit Rating Reviews
* Credit Balance/Amounts Review
* Meetings with Sales Managers
* Refunds
* Demand Letters
* Assist in year-end audit process
* Other duties as assigned

The person

Qualifications

* 5+ years of collections experience
* Management of high number and volume of accounts
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Familiarity with Microsoft Excel is required
* Attention to detail
* Ability to take initiative and follow through
* Experience with SAP is preferred, but not required

Physical Requirements

* Sitting for long periods of time
* Computer use for long periods of time
