Overview

The GBS Group, an engineering services and consulting firm, is seeking an Install Technician to support our growing technology business in Washington DC. The GBS Group is a commercial and government engineering services firm with a variety of contract types. This position will focus on our commercial business with the schedule of Monday - Friday.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to

* Drilling through stainless steel brackets for mounting of components
* Disassembling and reassembling vehicle's exterior body parts and interior panels
* Properly mounting and securing components to vehicles
* Routing wires and cabling into vehicles
* Documenting all work completed on work orders accurately
* Maintaining a clean, organized and safe working area

Qualifications

Candidates must possess the following professional experience and qualifications:

* Minimum of 5 years of mechanical installation work, including drilling and mounting of components
* Must have a proficiency using basic hand and power tool
* Must be flexible enough for periodic travel and stay overnight when required
* Must be able to pass security clearance check as some access to secure locations may be necessary
* Must be able to lift packages weighing up to 70 lbs.
* Must be able to pass a criminal background check, drug test and have a clean driver's record.
