Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with community-based coalitions to develop and implement substance use prevention strategies • Provide technical assistance and training resources to enhance coalition capabilities • Develop comprehensive community and coalition needs assessments • Create and update strategic work plans to address local prevention priorities • Coordinate and participate in prevention-focused training and resource networks • Prepare and submit detailed monthly progress, billing, and data reports • Support and participate in community education campaigns and prevention initiatives

Education, Experience, and/or Credential Qualifications:

Master's Degree in social work, counseling, public health, education, psychology, community development, public administration or a closely related field

OR Bachelor's Degree in the above fields with at least one (1) year professional experience in a social service agency

OR Associate's Degree with at least two (2) years of professional experience in a social service agency • Must obtain Missouri Substance Abuse Prevention Associate (MSAPA) credential within six (6) months of hire • Must attend Substance Abuse Prevention Specialist Training (SAPST) within nine (9) months of hire

Additional Qualifications: • Valid driver's license • Acceptable driving record • Current auto insurance • Must pass background check including criminal record, driving record, and fingerprint check

Physical Requirements: • Sedentary work involving occasional lifting up to 10 pounds • Ability to sit for extended periods • Capable of typing and writing during work shift • Occasional walking and standing required
