Undergrad Student Employee - Conference Services/Grounds

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Position: Student Employee
Department: Athletic Stadium - Operating
Classification: Part-time, Non-benefit eligible
Duties: Will conduct field preparation which will include dragging, chalking, lining, and any necessary field preparing
needed for the Softball and Baseball fields. Garbage removal and tidiness of complex after events. Act as a liaison and
coordinator for outside vendors using the facilities. Any additional duties assigned by your direct supervisor that
are needed for the events and/or practices.
Required Qualifications:
* Must be a currently enrolled Benedictine student in good standing.
* Golf Cart, Kubota or other lawn equipment) need to complete the online/in person training with Michi Dubes, Emergency Preparedness Manager.
* Physical Requirements: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to touch, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms.
This position requires the ability to occasionally lift office products and supplies, up to 50 pounds.
Use of computer screen, phone and customer service.
May require bending, or sitting for long periods of time. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
The following of campus specific guidelines for pandemic protocols is required.
* Training: As a University employee you are required to complete all University-specific and/or OSHA related training to fulfill your job duties. Specific training will be conducted online or in person. Employees must complete all trainings required by Benedictine University.
* Location: Rice Center/Sports Complex

* Hours per week: Max 35 hours per week - (Wednesday-Sunday) required shift (730am-11pm)
* Monday/Tuesday - usually evening hours (1pm - 9pm) Please discuss your availability with hiring manager .
