Description

Dental Implant Coordinator

General Summary: Primary responsibilities are to assist the OMS by coordinating the entire implant treatment process.

Job Responsibilities:

Contact and communicate with potential implant patients

Educate patients on the implant process

Build value for the patient's experience

Ensure high quality patient service and care

Coordinate financial arrangements for implant patients

Participate in marketing for patient lead generation

Drive implant sales, in collaboration with the surgeons, based on patient care standards

Schedule implant placement procedures

Maintain an implant tracking system and assure that implant parts and pieces are readily available for surgery

Order implant supplies and equipment

Liaison between patients, surgeons, referring dentists and labs

All other duties related to implant treatments and clinical leadership as assigned by clinical manager.

Required Qualifications:

Dental or Oral Surgery experience: 2-3 year

Implant Treatment Coordinator experience: Preferred but not required.

Radiology certification

CPR certification

Required Skills & Abilities:

Computer literacy in basic applications , i.e. Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Office

Willingness to do local travel as needed

Dependability

Good Communication

Good organizational skills

Detail oriented with the ability to prioritize while working under pressure

Requires a highly motivated person with strong negotiation skills.

Ability to immediately build rapport, assess patients' needs and create a sense of urgency to drive action.
