Specialty: Dermatology
Medical Assistant daily role: Will be working to support Drs. who perform MOHS procedures but they also have openings in general dermatology.
+ Greeting and rooming patients
+ Recording vitals
+ Update patient history using Epic EMR system
+ Assist providers in procedures
+ Must be comfortable performing administrative duties including scheduling appointments, performing insurance verifications, & also prior authorizations.
Work environment:
+ This role includes both clinical and administrative duties
+ Fast paced Dermatology office, 15-20 patients per day
+ Must be comfortable floating to satellite offices as needed (will be notified in advance)
Schedule & Locations:
+ Full Time- 730AM-330PM- 40 Hours- No weekends
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
+ 6 Months + of medical assisting experience
+ Dermatology experience not required but preferred
+ Experience with MOHS not required
+ Must be comfortable working with all ages
+ Must be comfortable commuting between offices as needed (rare occasion)
+ Must have medical assistant diploma, CMA/RMA preferred
+ Must have prior EMR/EHR experience, Epic preferred
