This Door/Window Service Technician position will provide superior field support on window and door products by performing service in the customer's home. The ideal candidate will have a great attitude, be self-motivated, driven, efficient, and detail oriented. They will also have a minimum of 3+ construction related experience.

What You'll Do

We are looking for a professional who is experienced in installing and servicing windows and doors. This Door/Window Service Technician position will provide superior field support on window and door products by performing service in the customer's home. The ideal candidate will have a great attitude, be self-motivated, driven, efficient, and detail-oriented.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

* Trouble shoot problems.
* Visit job sites.
* Re-glaze windows.
* Service Sliding Glass Doors.
* Inspect the project with customers for final product acceptance.
* Repair issues on jobs.
* Communicate with service manager, production manager on issues as they arise.
* Ensure you have materials for projects prior to job.
* Communicate effectively with customers before during and possibly after service.

Requirements:

* Candidate must have experience with window and door service.
* Must have good customer service skills and can communicate well verbally and in writing.
* Must be organized and have good follow up skills and be computer literate.
* Experienced with framing and window trim out preferred.
* Must have a clean valid driving license.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS / WORK ENVIRONMENT

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

* Frequent use of eye, hand, and finger coordination enabling the use of office machinery.
* Oral and auditory capacity enabling interpersonal communication as well as communication through automated devices such as the telephone.
* Must be able to lift up to 50lbs without assistance.
* Must be able to lift 50+lbs with assistance.
* Use of hand tools

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS

* Required to travel to service sites daily.
