Supervisor: Assistant Superintendent for Student Services & Director of Special Education

Status: Exempt - Non-Union

POSITION SUMMARY

The Occupational Therapist provides services to students with disabilities to help them improve

and/or develop the skills needed for day to day life and/or work.

QUALIFICATIONS - EXPERIENCE - KNOWLEDGE:

? Occupational Therapist license - Illinois

? Knowledge of special education related laws and regulations

? Good verbal communication skills required

? Ability to organize information and problem solve complex situations

? Strong interpersonal skills

? Experience with high school students preferred

Mandatory Orientation: Friday, May 31st 1PM-3PM

ESY24 DATES & TIMES:

Monday -Thursdays, June 4th (Tuesday)- June 27th (No Fridays)

No school June 19th (Wednesday)

Students: 8-11:45

Teachers/Related Services Staff Members: 7:30-12:15

Paraprofessionals: 7:45-12:00

Locations: Hinsdale South High School (Central students will attend at South for ESY24) AND Transition Center (Darien and Burr Ridge locations)
