SUMMARY

Responsible for assisting the Special Education Teachers in the implementation of an effective educational program for children assigned. Provides services to young children.

RESPONSIBILITIES

* Assists in the formulation and implementation of educational Programming consistent with the I.E.P. and Master Treatment Plan.
* Prepare and present verbal and written reports concerning childrens educational progress.
* With Departmental privileging administer educational diagnostic tests.
* Attend and participate in meetings or conferences including supervisory sessions staff meetings or other meetings as assigned.
* Participate in parent conference as required.
* Participate in diagnostic evaluations.
* Prepare maintain and submit required reports records statistical data or other information.
* Assist assigned children in all aspects of daily programming including self-care social skills and recreation.
* Observes all school policies rules and regulations.
* Perform other duties as required assigned or directed.

REQUIREMENTS

* Baccalaureate Degree preferred with a major in Special Education or related human service fields.
* Demonstrated knowledge and skills necessary to provide care to patients with consideration of aging processes human development stages and cultural patterns in each step of the care process
* Prior experience working with children helpful.

Work is performed in a psychological clinic for children and adolescent environment.
