Call Center Scheduler

- Responsible for scheduling, canceling, and rescheduling of patient exams for multiple imaging center locations (13)
- Collecting and processing accurate patient demographics and clinical information in accordance with protocol pertinent to the requested exam.
- Responsibilities are performed via phone and computer in a call center setting with a high volume of daily calls and fax requests from patients and/or referring physician offices.
- 80-100 calls both inbound and outbound per day
- Ability to deliver the highest quality customer service.
- Must be comfortable in a fast-paced environment with the ability to remain calm in stressful situations.
- Completes outbound calls to schedule patient exams when a RX is received ensuring accuracy in a timely manner.
- Responds to all calls with courtesy and professionalism.
- Manage and escalate priority issues, route calls, and questions to appropriate resources.
- 3-5 Must Have Skills/Qualifications
- Data entry skills
- Basic computer knowledge
- Ability to type a minimum of 35 wpm.
- Multitasking
- Able to work in a fast paced setting
Nice to Have Skills- Previous experience in a call center environment
- Scheduling experience
- Bilingual in Spanish & English
Soft Skill/Attribute Requirements
Great communication / customer service skills
Interview Availability
Onsite; Flexible - with Scheduling Manager and Supervisor
Schedule/Shift- Monday - Thursday between 7:30am-5:30pm
- Friday between 7:30am - 5pm
- Some saturdays as well - 7:30am-1pm (if they work a saturday shift they get a day off during the week - right now it is on a volunteer basis, they would get a half )
