Essential Functions:

* Construction and Management of procedure documentation
* Reliable and punctual attendance is essential; expected to be at job as scheduled each scheduled day.
* Communicate necessary information to others as appropriate.
* Accountable for initiation of proper routine and emergency care as indicated by practice and Family Health West's policies and procedures.
* Demonstrates critical thinking and problem solving skills appropriately utilizing resources. Consults physicians for advice and utilizes team approach for problem solving.
* Receives and carries out physician orders.
* Assists physicians with medical procedures.
* Safely and correctly performs all procedures within the scope of nursing practices.
* Knowledge of medication dosages, routes, and actions.
* Reordering and stocking supplies and medication inventory as needed.
* Observation of universal precautions
* Recognition, initiation and observation of special precautions.
* Identification of patient needs, planning and implantation of care.
* Direct assistance with any patient care needs.
* Ensure that all records required for admission, consent, discharge, etc. are fully completed in a timely and efficient manner.
* Complete and accurate documentation of assessments, observations, situations and events.
* Provide formal and informal patient education within scope of practice.
* Ensure courteous and professional interactions with the public and other staff members.
* Other job related duties as assigned.

Education:

Education: Completion of an accredited Licensed Practical Nurse program.

Licenses: Current unrestricted LPN and IV license with the State of Colorado.

Certifications: Current BLS certification; ACLS within 6 months of hire.

Experience: 1-2 years of LPN experience & prior LPN experience in a procedure center/ clinic preferred.

Wage Range : The wage range for this position starts at $27.00 and goes up based on experience.

Immunizations required for employment, including COVID-19.
