Responsibilities:

* Provides assistance to assigned consumers including, but not limited to the following:
* Assistance with activities of daily living i.e. bathing, grooming, dressing, etc.
* Assist with ambulation or transfers, as applicable
* Assist with nutritional and dietary needs
* Essential household duties i.e. cooking, light cleaning, laundry
* Provide for safe and sanitary home environment
* Utilize basic infection control technique and procedures
* Provide medication reminders as directed by the Service Authorization and/or Care Plan
* Maintain consumer confidentiality
* Promote independent living philosophy

Requirements:

* Proficiency in the English language
* Successful completion of the Direct Care Worker Competency orientation process
* Current CPR Card
* Current Health Screening (in accordance with state regulations)
