Location: High Point, NC / See Schedule Below / Pay Rate: $21.19 Hourly with Excellent Benefits and $1,000 Signing Bonus
We are actively seeking a detail-oriented and hands-on Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be a vital part of our operations, responsible for ensuring the smooth functioning of our equipment and facilities. If you have a keen eye for diagnosing and resolving technical issues, possess strong troubleshooting skills, and thrive in a dynamic maintenance environment, we encourage you to apply. Schedule will be Sunday, Monday and Tuesdays 7:00AM to 7:30PM and Wednesday 7:00AM to 11:30AM.
Off Thursday, Friday and Saturdays
Maintenance Technician 1 Responsibilities:
* Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations during maintenance activities. Identify potential hazards and implement corrective measures to maintain a safe working environment.
* Preventative Maintenance: Conduct routine inspections and carry out preventative maintenance procedures and tasks on equipment.
* Troubleshooting and Repairs: Utilize your technical expertise to troubleshoot and repair a variety of mechanical and electrical systems and resolve problems in a timely manner.
* Operational Support: Work with other departments to ensure overall equipment effectiveness.
* Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including repairs, inspections, and preventive maintenance tasks.
* Team Collaboration: Work closely with other maintenance technicians and relevant departments to coordinate maintenance activities, share knowledge, and provide technical support when needed.
* Training and Mentoring: Provide guidance and training to junior technicians to enhance their technical skills and ensure the effective transfer of knowledge within the team.

Maintenance Technician 1 Requirements:
* High school diploma or equivalent (Additional technical certifications preferred)
* Has minimum one year of maintenance experience in an industrial setting or equivalent.
* Has basic mechanical aptitude.
* Has a basic working knowledge of mechanical/electrical principles.
* Understands basic hand tool functions.
* Has a great team focused attitude.
* Is excited to work in a fast-paced and challenging environment.
* Is physically able to perform the duties of the job.
* Is able to operate support equipment (i.e. Forklifts, Scissor Lifts)
* Has strong communication skills.
* Is willing to work a flexible schedule which may include weekends and holidays.
