Essential Job Statements
- Serves as a primary point of contact for staff seeking information on respiratory protection.
- Performs respirator fit testing for Health System staff.
- Provides hands-on and occasional virtual training on respiratory protection and respirator use.
- Works with the Occupational Injury Prevention & Safety Manager to schedule staff members for fit testing and training appointments and maintain and regular appointment and drop-in hours.
- Catalogues and maintains an inventory of necessary fit testing supplies.
- Records accurately and in a timely fashion fit testing and training records and designated respiratory protection key performance indicators.
- Performs other relevant job tasks as assigned.

Employment Qualifications
Required Education:
Bachelor's degree in sciences, Mathematics, Physics, Information Technology, or related fields of study.
Preferred Education:
Bachelor's degree in environmental or occupational Health and Safety or Health Sciences.
Licensure/Certification Required:
N/A
Licensure/Certification Preferred:
OSHA 10 Hour or OSHA 30 Hour in General Industry.
Minimum Qualifications
Years and Type of Required Experience:
Previous professional experience in respirator fit testing or administration of a respiratory protection program.
Previous experience in a healthcare environment
Direct knowledge of respiratory protection regulations and best practices, including but not limited to 29 CFR 1910.134 and ISO 16975-1 through 16975-4.
Preferred Experience:
One (1) year of experience providing fit testing services or respiratory protection program administration.
Professional experience in an educational and/or research hospital environment.
Prior experience handling personal identifying information.
