We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Cost Accountant to join our team and support our financial operations. The Cost Accountant will be responsible for support the implementation of the company’s ERP as well as managing and analyzing the costs associated with the manufacturing process. This role requires a strong understanding of cost accounting principles, excellent analytical skills, and experience in the manufacturing industry. This is a full-time, permanent position with the opportunity for growth and advancement within the company.

*Requirements and qualifications:*
* Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or CMA preferred).
* Minimum of 3 years of experience in cost accounting, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
* Strong knowledge of cost accounting principles and practices.
* Experience with ERP system implementation and integration.
* Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
* Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

*Employment responsibilities will include, but not limited to:*
* Lead or support the implementation and integration of ERP systems to enhance cost accounting processes and data accuracy.
* Train and support staff on the use of the ERP system for cost accounting purposes.
* Maintain and analyze cost accounting systems and processes.
* Prepare and review cost reports and financial statements.
* Monitor and analyze manufacturing variances, including labor, material, and overhead costs.
* Conduct cost analysis and provide insights to support pricing and profitability decisions.
* Assist in the development and implementation of cost accounting policies and procedures.
* Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
* Ensure accurate and timely recording of cost-related financial transactions.
* Collaborate with production and operations teams to understand cost drivers and improve cost efficiency.
* Conduct inventory valuation and reconciliation.
* Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities.
* Prepare and present cost analysis reports to management.
* Stay updated on changes in cost accounting standards and best practices.
