*Position Overview*

As a RedSeal Professional Services team member, you will work directly with customers and partners both onsite and remotely to enable them to realize the benefits of the RedSeal system. This position requires traveling to customer locations to ensure a successful deployment of RedSeal.

A RedSeal Professional Services team member performs a variety of tasks. In this role, you will:

· Establish and maintain positive and constructive relationships with clients

· Communicate with the customer to understand their network and security architecture, infrastructure, and operational environment

· Work with the customer to understand their network security objectives

· Map customer network security objectives to RedSeal capabilities

· Define practical plans for integrating RedSeal into the customer environment to meet their specific objectives

· Assist customer towards realization of the effectively integrated system

· Provide hands-on leadership in resolving technical/integration issues

· Effectively escalate critical technical and operations issues

· Provide standard and customized training on the RedSeal platform

· Identify and propose additional integration and value opportunities

· Provide accurate, complete and timely written documentation for all project phases

· Effectively communicate project status and issues to the customer and RedSeal

· Identify new techniques and methodologies, as well as potential usability enhancements to the RedSeal product, based on your experience using RedSeal in complex customer environments

· Collaborate and interact effectively with the following teams:

o Engineering for resolution of product issues

o Product Management for identification and prioritization of product enhancements

o Sales for identification of techniques and resources to help position RedSeal Technology appropriately in specific customer environments

o Documentation for evolution of Product Documentation and related resources

o Professional Services to maximize customer success

*About You*

· Bachelor’s Degree (all disciplines considered) or equivalent experience

· 5 to 9 years of experience in the computer networking/security industry

· US Government Clearance (TS/SCI with CI poly, or TS/SCI with Full scope)

· Solid understanding of networking and security concepts

· Expert-level understanding of both L2 & L3, with routing/routed protocols and security/tunneling protocols and cloud-based technologies like Azure or AWS

· Expert-level understanding of security appliances such as firewalls, load balances, IPS/IDS

· Can get down in the weeds technically while being able to explain difficult concepts for folks who are not technical

· Prior experience driving adoption of new products and processes across multiple business units

· Experience in multi-customer environments

· Strong troubleshooting skills

· Able to identify issues, prioritize tasks and solve problems based on analysis

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills

· Superior customer advocacy skills

· Ability to collaborate with colleagues from multiple departments

· Experience with security audits

· Experience with ServiceNow and Splunk, including integration, reporting, and dashboard creation

· Professional certifications in networking, cloud, or security

· Python scripting

· Automating the boring stuff

*Other Important Details*

Our contract requires that this position holder must be a United States citizen, a lawful permanent resident alien, or a citizen of American Samoa or other territory owing permanent allegiance to the United States.

Travel is required for this position, mainly around the Washington, DC area. It is anticipated that you will travel an average of 20% of the time, with up to 50% required from July through September.
