We are a busy 3 doctor small animal practice and are looking for a Registered Veterinary Technician to grow with our team We are located in a community of wonderful people with the commitment and resources to provide excellent health care for their pets.

Our hospital is well equipped and maintained; digital x-rays, digital dental x-rays, therapeutic laser and the Oncura ultrasound system provide the tools for our team to give high tech care with personal connections to our clients. Many team members are “Fear Free Certified;” we incorporate Fear Free techniques into our practice in every department.

*Certified Veterinary Technician Role Requirements*
* Veterinary Technician Certification or Licensure (CVT, RVT, LVT, or LVMT) or the ability to transfer credentials from state to state.
* Associate degree in Veterinary Technology
* Mon-Saturday 7am-6pm. 4- 10 hour shifts or 5- 8 hour shifts.

*Certified Veterinary Technician Responsibilities*
* Professional client communication and education obtaining medical histories and symptoms.
* Laboratory procedures including but not limited to: hematology, cytology, urinalysis, microbiology, blood chemistry, and fecals.
* Diagnostic imaging and implementing safety protocols of fellow staff members.
* Nursing skills including restraining patients, administering medications. PO/IV/SUBQ/IM, applying and maintaining bandages, proficient IV catheter placement and venipuncture, surgery prep, and anesthesia monitoring.
* Competently perform dental prophylaxis
