We are one of the largest self performing heavy civil general contractors in the state The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate and timely estimates for large-scale construction projects, ensuring that all aspects of the project are considered for optimal cost efficiency and risk management.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare detailed estimates for heavy civil construction projects including earthwork, concrete, asphalt, and underground utilities.Conduct quantity takeoffs and cost analysis for labor, materials, and equipment.Develop bid proposals and submit to clients in a timely manner.Manage and oversee the estimation process from initial inquiry to final bid submission.Collaborate with project managers and site supervisors to ensure accurate cost projections and project specifications.Evaluate construction contracts and identify potential risks associated with project execution.Implement value engineering practices to optimize project costs without compromising quality.Assist in change order management and negotiation with clients and subcontractors.Maintain construction documentation and ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.Minimum of 5 years of experience in estimating for heavy civil construction projects.Proficiency in cost estimation software and Microsoft Office Suite.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on cost control and risk assessment.Demonstrated experience in project management and scheduling.BenefitsCompetitive Base Salary DOE $100,000 - $140,000+Bonus Potential 401k matching Medical, Dental, Vision InsuranceCompany Cell, Laptop, etc. Additional perks etc. Email Your Resume In Word ToLooking forward to receiving your resume through our website and going over the position with you.
