What Will You be Doing?
Conduct comprehensive health assessments, including detailed medical histories and physical examinations.
Provide prenatal, postnatal, and general gynecological care, including Pap smears, pelvic exams, and breast exams.
Diagnose and manage acute and chronic conditions such as STIs, menstrual disorders, menopause, and infertility.
Prescribe medications, treatments, and non-pharmacological therapies as needed.
Educate and counsel patients on reproductive health, family planning, contraception, and healthy lifestyle choices.
Interpret diagnostic tests and perform procedures such as IUD placement, Nexplanon placement, colposcopies, and biopsies.
Work collaboratively with physicians, nurses, BHCs, care coordinators, and other healthcare providers to deliver integrated care.
Coordinate patient care and referrals to specialists as needed.
Develop and implement health promotion and disease prevention programs tailored to women's health needs.
Provide patient education materials and resources on topics such as prenatal care, breastfeeding, menopause management, and cancer prevention.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
Stay current with advancements in women's health through continuing education, professional development, and participation in relevant organizations.
Contribute to policy development, quality improvement initiatives, and research projects within the practice setting.
What We Need from You:
Master's or Doctoral degree in Nursing from an accredited program with a focus on Women's Health.
Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license and Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) license in the state of practice.
Prescriptive authority and DEA registration as required by state law.
Minimum of 2-3 years of clinical experience in women's health, obstetrics, or gynecology preferred.
Experience in primary care or family practice is a plus.
Strong clinical skills and proficiency in women's health care procedures.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Compassionate, Christ-directed and patient-centered approach to care.
