In this hands-on role, you will perform a variety of plumbing installations, repairs, and maintenance tasks while ensuring compliance with local codes and safety standards. The position includes participation in an on-call support rotation to handle emergency services, providing opportunities for additional compensation. If you are a motivated plumber with strong technical and leadership skills and a customer-focused mindset, we encourage you to apply.Key Responsibilities:* Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, water heaters, drains, and sewage systems in residential and commercial settings.* Diagnose and troubleshoot plumbing issues, such as leaks, clogs, and malfunctions, using appropriate tools and techniques.* Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and building codes to plan and execute projects efficiently.* Collaborate with team members, including apprentices and other tradespeople, to complete jobs on time and within budget.* Provide excellent customer service by explaining issues, solutions, and preventive maintenance to clients.* Participate in an on-call support rotation (typically one week every 4-6 weeks) to respond to after-hours emergencies, with time-and-a-half pay for on-call hours.* Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and time spent on jobs.* Ensure all work adheres to safety protocols, company policies, and relevant regulations.* Assist in mentoring junior staff and contributing to team training as needed.Qualifications and Requirements:* Valid Journeyman Plumber license in Montana.* Minimum of 7-10 years of experience as a working plumber in residential and/or commercial environments.* Strong knowledge of plumbing codes, materials, and best practices.* Proficiency with plumbing tools and equipment; ability to supply basic plumbing tools.* Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; reliable transportation required.* Physical ability to perform demanding tasks, including lifting heavy objects, working in confined spaces, and standing for extended periods.* Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and commitment to quality workmanship.* Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.* Availability for on-call rotation and occasional overtime.Compensation and Benefits:* Competitive starting hourly wage of $40- $52, based on experience and qualifications.
