ICO is a community-based organization located in Harford County, MD. We serve families and our mission is to nurture them by assessing and addressing individual's educational, social, and health needs. ICO provides steppingstone to those struggling to improve their quality of life. ICO has been serving Harford County for 37 years. We have experienced consistent growth over the past three years serving 2,100 individuals per year with an annual operating budget of 1.6 million. *Inner County Outreach* is hiring for a *Therapist *for *Family Services.*

*Requirements:*

* Maintain confidentiality of records relating to clients' treatment.
* Gather information about community mental health needs and resources that could be used in conjunction with therapy.
* Assess clients' mental condition based on review of client information, interviews, observation, tests, and collaboration with other staff members.
* Serve as a client advocate to coordinate required services or to resolve emergency problems in crisis situations.
* Develop and implement treatment plans based on DA, clinical experience and knowledge.
* Conduct initial family assessments and refer patients, clients, or family members to community resources or to specialists as necessary.
* Qualifications for Mental Health Therapist
* 2+ years’ experience with providing diagnostic assessment and therapy services to a full range of individuals from youth through adulthood.
* Maintain professional licensure and/or certification throughout employment with this agency.
* Ability to work as a team member and cooperatively.
* Must be able to work flexible work schedule including evenings and weekends on occasion.
* Superb organizational skills
* Case management
* Excellent written and oral communication skills
* Able to establish and maintain effective working relationships with mentally or emotionally disabled persons and their families.
* Collaborative practice with case management team members.
* Responsible for psychosocial assessment, crisis intervention, family meetings, case conferences, post-acute transition planning, and community resource referrals.

*Qualifications:*
* MS Social Work from an accredited school of social work preferred. s
* Licensed Mental Health credential is required (LMSW, LCSW, LGPC, LCPC).
* Ability to work as a team member and cooperatively
