The successful candidate will play a significant role in managing and coordinating all aspects of our company's accounting operations. Responsibilities: Oversee and manage the general accounting functions, including, but not limited to: accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and taxes. Manage and supervise accounting department employees; responsible for day-to-day supervision and leadership. Maintain and improve processes and controls associated with manufacturing costs and inventory valuation. Lead and manage the monthly financial close process and ensure timely, accurate and complete results. Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for accuracy and completeness. Implement and ensure adherence to accounting policies and procedures. Develop budget and financial forecasts; provide financial analyses as needed. Participate in the ongoing strategic planning process as an integral member of the senior management team. Coordinate or assist with the coordination of the annual audit process. Perform and oversee the monthly balancing and reconciliations of general ledger accounts. Review and manage all ledger accounts and entries. Collaborate with external auditors to ensure successful audit results and compliance. Interact with other department heads to provide consultative support to planning initiatives through financial and management information analyses, reports, and recommendations.Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field. 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with a portion of it being in a supervisory role.
