Job Summary:

Performs most patient menu manipulations within the department. Assists the cook with cold food production. Completes routine record keeping. Delivers and retrieves patient trays as required.
Performs menu and diet procedures to insure patients receive appropriate foods at meal times.
Conducts food production tallies for all three meals.
Assembles patient trays, with the cook, for delivery.
Assembles and delivers nourishments for patients.
Completes routine records and stats for the dietary department’s PI and Accountability reports.
Assists with cold food production for patients and cafeteria patrons.
Fills requisitions for patient pantry stock as requested.
Assists with service and short-order work for the cafeteria. Cashiering as required
Sets up for special function as needed.
Answers and directs phone calls to the department.
Cleans and sanitizes all work areas when used or as assigned.
Occasionally works special functions as assigned.

Hours: Full Time, various shifts.

Salary: $17.67 - $20.17 per hour based on experience.

Requirements:

Experience:

6 months commercial cooking experience required.

Education:

High School Diploma or equivalent.

Certification/Skills:

Serve Safe certification preferred
