Location: New York, NY We are seeking a skilled professional for a 24-week assignment in the Gross Room, working Monday through Friday from 1 PM to 9 PM. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in handling gross small biopsies and simple routine specimens under supervision. Responsibilities Perform embedding and microtomy of all surgical specimens. Work collaboratively in a team environment to ensure accurate and efficient processing of specimens. Qualifications Associate's degree in Science and completion of an approved Histology accredited program, or a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience (required). Possession of a NYS Clinical Laboratory Technician License, Certified Histology Technician, or Clinical Lab Technician certification from the NYS Department of Education (required). 2-3 years of experience in histology, particularly with biopsy specimens and dermatological samples. xhuatnn If you meet the above qualifications and are eager to contribute to our team, we encourage you to apply.
