Pharmacy Technician - Patient Support Highlights • The pay for this position is $24.45 per hour. • Full-Time schedule: Monday–Friday, with one weekday/weekend option available. 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM EST 9:30 AM – 6:00 PM EST 10:30 AM – 7:00 PM EST 11:00 AM – 7:30 PM EST 11:30 AM – 8:00 PM EST Weekday/Weekend Option: Mon–Wed (10:30 AM–7:00 PM) + Sat/Sun (9:00 AM–5:30 PM) • Onsite position . Candidates may also reside in Amherst, NY; New Hyde Park, NY; Woodridge, IL; Houston, TX; or Scottsdale, AZ. • This position is a contract role with potential for permanent hire based on attendance, performance, and business needs. Responsibilities • Answer inbound calls and provide first-call resolution for patient and provider inquiries. • Coordinate prescription deliveries and process copayments accurately. • Communicate effectively with physician offices, patients, and internal departments. • Triage calls to appropriate departments when necessary. • Maintain accuracy and professionalism while handling sensitive patient information in compliance with HIPAA standards. Requirements • High School Diploma or GED (verifiable). • Active state Pharmacy Technician license or registration with the Board of Pharmacy (required). • PTCB certification preferred. • Prior pharmacy or healthcare call center experience a plus. • Strong communication and problem-solving skills. • Ability to multitask effectively in a high-volume environment. • Commitment to mandatory attendance during the first 90 days of employment.
