The rotation includes one week on the floor, one week off, one week in the emergency department, followed by another week off. Shifts run from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., Sunday through Saturday. The average daily census is 10-25 patients, with 5-10 daily admissions and an estimated 15 patients per shift. There is no weekday or weekend call required. APP support is available, and the locum provider will not handle admissions.
