*Job Summary:*

As a Medical Technologist, you will be responsible for performing assigned laboratory tests in departments such as Hematology, Clinical Chemistry, Blood Bank, Serology, Coagulation, Urinalysis, and Microbiology. Your work will play a critical role in providing data for the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of disease.

*Key Responsibilities:*
* Conduct complex microscopic, immunologic, biologic, bacteriologic, hematologic, and chemical tests.
* Receive specimens and maintain inventory for supplies.
* Troubleshoot and resolve instrument issues, documenting corrective actions, and performing repairs when necessary.
* Ensure quality control procedures are properly followed and logged.
* Train new employees and students as needed.
* Participate actively in phlebotomy and specimen accession.

*Qualifications:*
* *Education:* Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Technology, Clinical Laboratory Sciences, or related field.
* *Experience:* Open to new graduates with completed hospital clinicals. MLT experience or MT experience is also accepted.
* *Licensure:* Medical Technologist (MT) registry required. Candidates must have taken or applied for the MT exam to be considered.
* *Certifications:* ASCP or equivalent preferred but not required.
