As an RN in our Behavioral Hospital located on the Westbank, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality care to our patients. You will be responsible for assessing patient health problems and needs, developing and implementing nursing care plans, and maintaining medical records. Additionally, you will collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to ensure that our patients receive the best possible care. Your work will directly impact the well-being of our patients and their families. We are offering up to a $10,000 retention bonus for FT RNs.
Minimum Qualifications:
Active RN license in the state of Louisiana
Graduate of an accredited nursing program
At least 2 year of experience in a hospital setting
Ability to work 12-hour shifts, including weekends and holidays
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in behavioral health nursing
Certification in psychiatric nursing
Bilingual in English and Spanish
Responsibilities:
Assess patient health problems and needs
Develop and implement nursing care plans
Maintain medical records
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams
Provide emotional support to patients and their families
Skills:
As an RN in our Behavioral Hospital, you will utilize your clinical skills to assess and treat patients with mental health disorders. You will also use your critical thinking and problem-solving skills to develop and implement nursing care plans. Additionally, your communication and interpersonal skills will be essential in collaborating with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to provide the best possible care to our patients. Your attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate medical records will ensure that our patients receive the highest quality care.
