*Role Overview:*
We’re looking for a detail-oriented CPA who thrives in a flexible and dynamic setting. As a CPA / Tax Preparation Specialist with us, you will be responsible for handling a variety of tax and accounting-related tasks, including preparing returns and providing expert advice. You’ll have the opportunity to work in a adaptable environment that supports your personal and professional needs, ensuring you can perform at your best while maintaining a balanced life.
*Key Responsibilities:*
* Prepare and review individual, corporate, and partnership tax returns with accuracy.
* Analyze financial information and ensure compliance with current tax laws and regulations.
* Communicate with clients to gather information and offer strategic tax planning advice.
* Demonstrate excellent team skills, positive attitude, and high ethical standards.
* Develop a strong working relationship with partners and become an active contributor to the overall client development and growth of the practice.
*What You’ll Do:*
* *Prepare Financial Statements:* Create and review accurate financial statements and reports to keep our clients’ finances in top shape.
* *Tax Services:* Handle tax planning and preparation, ensuring our clients maximize their tax benefits and stay compliant with regulations.
* *Financial Analysis:* Provide insightful financial analysis and advice to help clients make informed decisions and plan for their future.
* *Payroll Compliance:* Ensure accuracy and compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
*What We’re Looking For:*
* *Certified Public Accountant (CPA) License:* A valid CPA license is essential to ensure you’re well-equipped to handle the complexities of our clients' needs.
* *Experience and Expertise:* Minimum five years previous experience in accounting, tax preparation, and payroll compliance is a must. You should be familiar with accounting/tax software and have a solid understanding of financial regulations.
* *Attention to Detail:* Precision is key in accounting. We’re looking for someone who takes pride in delivering accurate and thorough work.
* *Excellent Communication Skills:* Clear and effective communication is crucial. You should be able to explain financial concepts to clients in a way that’s easy to understand.
* *Team Player:* We value collaboration and a positive attitude. You should be someone who works well with others and contributes to a supportive team environment.
