Description:

PolyCon Solutions is seeking a Financial Analyst to support our Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) client. The candidate must provide support for capitalization activities to the Service Areas and Field Offices to meet real estate objectives for the National Airspace System (NAS). The candidate must provide analysis, validation, processing of financial transactions and issues involving the full range of financial management services and accounting functions. The position requires knowledge of the agency's mission, policies, regulations, and applicable laws and guidance.

Duties:
  • Research and review documentation necessary to process capitalization packages and financial assets.
  • Monitor and process capitalization documentation and correspondence for all financial assets and financial tools.
  • Assist with validating financial fixed asset data reconciliation as applicable to capitalized assets.
  • Interpret and develop detailed financial reports.
  • Research and utilize the following existing databases listed below, as well as future developed databases, to support capitalization efforts:
    • DELPHI
    • CITRIX
    • Asset Interface Database (AID)
    • Facilities Service and Equipment Profile (FSEP)
    • National Program Capitalization Tool (NPCT)
    • Capitalized Assets Processing Suite (CAPS)
    • Asset Management System (AMS)
    • Project Document Library (PDL)
    • Joint Acceptance Inspection (JAI)
    • AFO Knowledge Share Network (KSN)
    • Regional Capitalization Team (RCT)
    • Electronic Capitalization Authorization Form (eCAF)
    • Corporate Work Plan (CWP)
    • Access Database Applications
Required Qualifications:
  • Solid interpersonal skills (oral & written).
  • Ability to handle multi-tasking priorities and strong self-motivation skills.
  • Ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Access, and other financial modeling tools.
Desired Skills:
  • FAA experience
  • Experience with DELPHI, CITRIX, and Corporate Work Plan (CWP) preferred.
Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree with a major in any field that included or was supplemented by at least 24 semester hours in accounting, business, finance, law, contracts, purchasing, economics, industrial management, marketing, quantitative methods, or organization and management
  • Minimum three (3) years of relevant experience.
Travel:
  • 0-20%
