Overview:

The Quality Assurance Manager is a crucial leadership role within our quality management structure, tasked with ensuring the highest standards of quality across either a specific site or the entire enterprise. This position oversees the development, implementation, and maintenance of quality assurance policies and procedures, aligning with regulatory compliance and industry standards to meet customer expectations. The Quality Assurance Manager will lead a team dedicated to scrutinizing manufacturing processes, product quality, and quality system effectiveness, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and excellence in quality across all operational levels.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and oversee the implementation of quality assurance strategies and procedures to ensure compliance with internal standards and external regulatory requirements.
  • Lead and manage quality assurance teams, setting clear objectives and KPIs, and ensuring the team's goals align with organizational quality objectives.
  • Coordinate with other departments to integrate quality assurance practices into manufacturing processes, product development, and across the supply chain.
  • Drive the Non-Conforming Material (NCM) process, ensuring effective identification, documentation, root cause analysis, and implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
  • Champion continuous improvement projects utilizing Six Sigma, Lean, or other methodologies to enhance quality and efficiency.
  • Oversee the execution of internal and external audits, including ISO certifications and compliance audits, ensuring adherence to quality management systems.
  • Analyze quality data and metrics to identify trends, areas for improvement, and implement strategies to address quality challenges.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry quality standards, regulatory requirements, and best practices to ensure the organization remains at the forefront of quality assurance.
  • Facilitate quality training and development programs for all employees to cultivate a strong quality culture within the organization.
  • Serve as the primary quality assurance liaison with suppliers, regulatory agencies, and customers, ensuring high standards of quality are consistently met and maintained.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelors degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.
  • Advanced certification in Quality Management Systems (e.g., CQM, CQE) or Lean Six Sigma Green/Black Belt preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality assurance, with at least 2 years in a managerial or supervisory role.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment, with a strong preference for candidates with a background in the relevant industry sector.
  • Proven track record of leading quality improvement initiatives and achieving significant quality enhancements.
  • Extensive knowledge of ISO 9001 and other relevant quality management systems, as well as regulatory compliance requirements.
  • Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire, motivate, and drive performance.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on detail and precision.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proactive and results-driven, with a continuous improvement mindset.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing demands in a fast-paced environment.
  • High level of integrity and professionalism, with a commitment to ethical quality management practices.
