Our team-oriented, customer-focused corporate culture places a premium on building strategic, mutually beneficial partnerships with customers as well as our team members.Description:We are always looking for talented Quality Inspectors to assist in advancing our quality objectives to produce parts to customer specifications every time and on time and to continually improve the effectiveness of our quality management system. The successful applicant with be an excellent team player, possess exceptional analytical skills, and the drive to continually learn and grow with the company. This is an entry-level position. Responsibilities:Reads and understands blueprints and specificationsApproves incoming, in-process, and finished products by confirming specifications, conducting visual and measurement tests, communicating required adjustments to production supervisors, returning products for re-work, and confirming re-work.May function as a point of contact to confer about issues as appropriate.Utilizes measuring instruments such as video measurement systems, comparators, height gages, microscopes, CMMs, and handheld gauges and tools.Discusses inspection results with those responsible for products.Documents inspection results by completing reports and logs; summarizing rework and waste; and inputting data into a quality database.Maintains a safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures, and complying with legal regulations.RequirementsDesired Skills, Talents, and Qualifications:1+ years of experience as a Quality Inspector in a machining or high-tech manufacturing environment preferred.Proficiency in utilizing a wide range of measuring instruments; experience with CMMs, video measurement systems, comparators, height gages, and microscopes strongly preferred.Demonstrated research and documentation skills.Strong math skillsAnalytical abilityDetail orientationStrong oral and written communication skillsBenefits: Medical/Dental/Vision Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, Life Insurance, Paid Vacation Days, Paid Holidays, 401k Please, No Recruitment Agency calls or emails (we are not using recruitment services for this, or any other role posted).
