Visit vibrantz.com to learn more.Job FunctionReporting into the Director of Operations, the Multisite Plant Manager will be based out of Houston, TX and will be responsible for overseeing the overall operations for our 4 Texas sites. The ideal candidate will have strong experience driving continuous improvement at manufacturing plants and being a transformational change agent. The successful candidate should possess considerable experience in significant manufacturing improvements, particularly in alignment with broader growth initiatives. This involves demonstrating the ability to establish a highly adaptable and flexible manufacturing operation. This person will ensure strict adherence to safety protocols and foster a culture of safety awareness among the plant. They will conduct regular inspections to identify potential hazards and address them proactively. The Multisite Plant Manager will lead and develop site leaders, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and implement strategic plans to enhance productivity and profitability.ResponsibilitiesDedicated leader committed to advancing safety excellence.Links established processes and leadership execution in the areas of Safety, Health and Environmental in keeping with the company's proud legacy of attention to safety, the environment, and the communities in which it exists.Ensures quality management systems are in place and functional. Ensures site quality systems remain current with ISO/QS quality system standards, assists with update of documentation as appropriate. Develop and implement strategic plans to improve operational efficiency and profitability.Develop and manage budgets, monitor, and control expenses to achieve financial targets.Coordinate with supply chain and commercial teams to manage inventory levels to support production while minimizing excess stock.Optimizes capital expenditures to sustain operations, drive safety, value, and deliver growth products.Delivers operational excellence through optimizing capacities, total cost effectiveness and value to the customer base. Ensures operation plans achieve targeted cost and efficiency results that maximize value for the business unit.Promotes structured continuous improvement utilizing methodologies such as Lean and Six Sigma.Ensures adequate people development plans and capable succession plans are in place.Promotes employee engagement initiatives to increase employee satisfaction.Manages productivity and efficiencies using metrics and continuous improvement protocol.Required ExperienceBachelor's degree10+ years of chemicals or materials industry experience in a manufacturing leadership position with at least 5 years in a multisite role.Demonstrated success in developing and executing manufacturing strategies and optimizing operations to achieve cost reductions and productivity gains while operating in a demanding customer environment.Conduct performance evaluations to maximize your team's effectiveness (SMART goals, good communication, reviews, training and development).Participate with HR in other processes related to your team such as selection, promotion or compensation.Knowledge of computers, inventory systems, quality systems, OSHA & EPA requirements, and ERPP&L responsibility experiencePreferred ExperienceBachelor's degree in engineering, science, or a related disciplineLean Six Sigma CertificationExperience in sites that are ISO 9000/NSF certified.BenefitsWe offer a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, life insurance, paid vacation, and 401K.Physical Requirements and Working ConditionsThe physical demands and working conditions are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
