Job Title: Strategic Account Manager, Clean Water

Reporting : VP, GM Process Systems

Major Focus : Work as part of a team of problem solvers focusing on clean water technologies within the dairy, food & beverage, craft beverage and landfill markets. The focus is to drive revenue growth through strategic long-term partnerships resulting in growth of $20M in 3-5yrs.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Grow Bookings : Develop global go to market strategies, selling strategies and executive level relationships to lead team to annual booking targets.
  2. Improve Margins: Through revised sales processes and value based sales models, improve margins over time.
  3. Increase Aftermarket Sales: Increase recurring revenue base through series of available aftermarket products and services.
Major Challenges:
  1. Many Customers: How to focus our commercial and engineering resources on the most important or likely to convert opportunities.
  2. Market Cyclicality: Some submarkets are cyclical or subject to lengthy capital approval processes.
  3. Challenge to develop a more predictable and recurring revenue stream.
Expected Performance Outcomes:
  1. Win specification on defined vertical pipelines and platforms by prioritizing resources.
  2. Grow sales in core markets : dairy, food & beverage, craft beverage and landfill markets
  3. Grow qualified sales pipeline in target applications within core markets.
  4. Travel - 40%
Required Experience:
  1. Experience in large and mid-size/small companies, working in both fast-pace and rigorous operating environments.
  2. Minimum 3+ years of proven experience selling water filtration technology or large water-related capital products.
  3. Track record of sales growth in adverse market conditions.
  4. Filtration technical experience preferred.
Technical Knowledge/Skills:
  1. Excellent negotiation skills
  2. Demonstrated leadership to successfully implement an overall customer strategy
  3. Thorough understanding of selling across multiple industries and up and down the organization
  4. Savvy sales process facilitator
  5. Needs an entrepreneurial mindset
  6. Able to manage key relationships with Leadership teams, application managers, and external contacts.
  7. Global mindset
