This includes ensuring optimal inventory levels, accuracy in stock counts, efficient warehouse organization, and implementing best practices to minimize losses and discrepancies. The role involves collaborating cross-functionally with logistics, procurement, supply chain, and finance teams to support seamless operations and maximize productivity.Job DutiesInventory Strategy & PlanningImplement inventory control strategies to optimize stock levels while meeting customer demand and minimizing carrying costs.Collaborate with the Central Operations/S&OP Team to ensure proper stocking levels & procurement of parts and chemistry.Team Leadership & DevelopmentLead, mentor, and develop a cross functional inventory control team, ensuring they have the skills and tools to meet performance goals.Conduct regular team meetings and training sessions to foster a productive and efficient work environment.Process Improvement & EfficiencyIdentify and implement process improvements within inventory management to enhance accuracy, speed, and overall efficiency.Develop and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) for inventory control to ensure consistency and compliance across the organization.Partner with technology and operations teams to evaluate and implement automation or software solutions.Inventory Accuracy & AuditsOversee regular cycle counts, full physical inventory, and inventory audits to ensure data accuracy.Investigate inventory discrepancies and develop action plans to mitigate future occurrences.Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements related to inventory management.Reporting & AnalyticsGenerate and analyze key performance metrics related to inventory turnover, accuracy rates, stockouts, and carrying costs.Provide detailed inventory reports and insights to senior leadership, supporting decision-making and strategic planning.Monitor key financial metrics, such as shrinkage and obsolescence, to minimize costs.Cross-functional CollaborationWork closely with logistics, distribution, and finance teams to ensure alignment on inventory policies and procedures.Coordinate with Central Operations/S&OP Team to manage demand changes, promotional activities, and peak season inventory needs.Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Operations, or related field (Master's preferred).5+ years of experience in inventory management, supply chain, or operations, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.Proven experience in large-scale inventory operations, ideally in a fast-paced industry (e.g., retail, manufacturing, e-commerce).Strong knowledge of inventory management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, WMS) and data analytics tools.Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional initiatives.Physical Requirements: Ability to lift light to medium weight up to 75May stand or sit for prolonged periods of timeMay stoop, bend, reach, walk; perform repetitive motions using hands to grasp, push, pull or do fine manipulationsAbility to work in warehouse; climates, temperatures, and conditionsActivityNone< 3 hours/day3 -6 hours/day> 6 hours/dayStandXWalkXSitXUse hands to finger, handle, & feelXReach with hands & armsXStoop, kneel, crouchXClimbXBalanceXTalk or hearXLook at a computer screenXLift up to 75 lbs.XGrow your career supported by an energized and passionate team, professional development, training, flexibility and opportunities for advancement.
