Supported Living Home Director

We are looking for candidates with experience directing and leading teams in a nursing facility or supported living community to become the Director of Supported Living Home in Blacksburg, VA.
We are looking for a leader to direct our Residential Supported Living campus that provides a wonderful home setting that provides 24 hour care for participants with brain /neuro injuries.
The mission for our Program Director of Supported Living is simple: Lead a team of Direct Support Professionals and support staff to ensure our Participants have a happy and safe environment to thrive
Responsibilities include:
- Development of career paths for our direct care staff
- Managing budgets for operations and staff while ensuring our program meets compliance and regulations
- Safety and well-being of our participants
- Direction and support for our team and participants
- Auditing and maintaining participant record files, liaison work with loved ones of our participants
- Building relationships with state and compliance regulations to confirm that we are meeting mandated regulations
- Working with our clinical team to increase service levels, meet census levels while maintaining quality care for our participants
- Review and monitor the development and implementation of treatment and service delivery plans.
- Attend licensing reviews and assist with development of correction plan and oversee consistent implementation of the plan.
- Promote relationships and provide information about the company to families, case managers, regional communities, and other professionals.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in human services, social work, or related field
- Three year minimum, supervisory experience in a human services field for residential supported setting
- Current driver's license, in good standing
- Strong leadership qualities, attention to detail, and organizational skills
- Effective communication skills to manage relationships and the ability to multi-task to meet deadlines
