Heavy Equipment Operator

We are seeking skilled Heavy Equipment Operators to join our General Contractor's construction team in the Austin, TX area. The ideal candidate will have experience with operating various types of heavy equipment, such as skid steers, excavators, and loaders.

Responsibilities:
  • Operate and maneuver heavy equipment in a safe and effective manner
  • Perform routine inspections on equipment
  • Always observe safety codes while operating equipment
  • Inspect equipment before operating to ensure it’s in working order
  • Monitor performance and adjust settings
  • Fill out performance records to report equipment issues
  • Track maintenance, and alert supervisors when maintenance is due
  • Other duties as requested by supervisors


Requirements:
  • Advanced knowledge of safety protocols and procedures related to operating heavy equipment
  • Ability to remain stationary in seats while operating equipment for prolonged periods
  • Basic writing skills to accurately complete reports, logs, etc.
  • Skid steer 
  • Excavators
  • Loaders
  • OSHA 10

Location:Austin, TX78701
Pay: $20-27/hr depending on experience
