Key Responsibilities:
  • Leadership: Oversee and lead the kitchen team in the absence of the Executive Chef.
  • Menu Planning: Assist in developing innovative and high-quality dishes.
  • Inventory Management: Manage food inventory and control food costs.
  • Compliance: Ensure adherence to food safety and sanitation standards.
  • Training & Development: Mentor and develop kitchen staff, fostering a culture of learning.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the Executive Chef to maintain high operational standards.
  • Innovation: Implement new cooking techniques and concepts.
  • Efficiency Improvement: Continuously strive to enhance kitchen efficiency.
Qualifications:
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years in a high-volume, upscale dining environment.
  • Leadership: Proven track record of effective kitchen management.
  • Technical Skills: Advanced cooking techniques and a passion for food innovation.
  • Menu Planning: Proficiency in menu planning and cost control.
  • Safety Standards: Comprehensive understanding of food safety and sanitation practices.
  • Communication: Excellent communication and organizational skills.
