Driver & Building Maintenance Technician

The job is designed for an individual who enjoys hands-on activities, driving, and working well alone. A desire to learn automotive repair is a plus. You will perform job duties as assigned by Service Manager, Service Advisor, Owner, Office Manager, or other Technicians senior to your position. This position is between 30-40 hours per week and offers full-time company benefits as per the Carz R Us handbook.  Job Responsibilities:
  • Empty trash, take out cardboard, sweep and wash floors
  • Management of company maintenance schedule (on google calendar) including cleaning bathrooms and other lobby areas, mowing the lawn, and other basic maintenance tasks
  • Put away tools
  • Empty oil drains, empty and fill flush machines, and fill fluid jugs
  • Use Slack for internal communication
  • Check-in vehicles
  • Air up tires to proper manufacturers specifications
  • Scan OBDII system for codes
  • Replace wipers and filters
  • Replace light bulbs
  • Replace batteries
  • Drive with law-abiding habits, picking up and dropping off of client vehicles, parts, or other errands
  • Any other work as assigned
 Job Skills & Qualifications:
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Professional driving of 1 year recommended
  • C-class License (not needed before the start of employment, will train)
  • Able to pass a medical test for C-Class License
  • Clean driving record

Preferred: Desire to pursue a career in the field of automotive repair
