JOB DESCRIPTION:
Role and Responsibilities:
  • The Program Director will work directly with the Program Manager to ensure the delivery of youth delinquency and violence prevention activities. 
  • The Program Director is a member of the senior management team to ensure organizational programming and events meet strategic objectives. 
  • Initiate and set goals for programs according to the strategic objectives of the organization. 
  • Plan the programs from start to completion involving deadlines, milestones, and processes.
  • Develop or approve budgets and operations.
  • Devise evaluation strategies to monitor performance and determine the need for improvements.
  • Supervise all program and project managers involved to provide feedback and resolve complex problems.
  • Discover ways to enhance the efficiency and productivity of procedures and people.
  • Apply change, risk and resources management principles when needed.
  • Ensure program operations and activities adhere to legal guidelines and internal policies.
  • Keep senior management informed with detailed and accurate reports and presentations. Leaders In Transformational Education 

KEY COMPETENCIES QUALIFICATIONS and Education Requirements:
  • Attend at all scheduled team meetings.
  • Complete assigned training and required training by funders. 
  • Other duties as assigned. 
  • Educational Requirements: Master's Degree in social service or related field plus 3 years of experience in leadership roles
  • Proven experience as the program director or other managerial position.
  • Thorough understanding of project/program management techniques and methods.
  • Excellent knowledge of performance evaluation techniques and key metrics
  • Outstanding knowledge of data analysis, reporting and budgeting.
  • Working knowledge of MS office and program management software.
  • A business acumen with a strategic ability.
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills. 
  • An analytical mindset with great problem – solving abilities 
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Must have a valid driver license and insurance. 
  • Must have a cleared LITE background check.
  • Must be highly organized, detail focused have excellent time management.
  • Must be flexible and work as part of a team. 
  • Must have ability to solve practical problems.
  • Ability to gather data, analyze, interpret.
  • Must have excellent engagement skills with populations with target population.
  • Ability to facilitate training and performance reviews.
