The ABCD Finance team is hiring If you are a detail-oriented individual passionate about community development and possess the skills to excel in this role, we invite you to join our team at ABCD as an Accounts Payable Supervisor. Key Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for coordinating an efficient accounts payable cycle through interactions with internal purchasing, budget and program staff and with external vendors. 
  • Supervise accounts payable and receivable staff.
  • Manage all accounts payable/receivable input into the Financial Edge accounting system and issue checks in a timely manner.
  • Provide program managers with detailed accounts payable reports as requested.
  • Manage travel and cash advances and perform related account reconciliations monthly.
  • Reconcile accounts payable report to the general ledger account monthly.
  • Input and maintain internal controls over cash receipts and related posting to the general ledger.
  • Responsible for the issuance of 1099’s each year.
  • Maintain documentation of all procedures in area of responsibility.
  • Assist the Accounting Manager on special projects such as those relating to internal control improvements, automation of procedures, audits, etc..
  • Perform other related duties as assigned from time to time.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise:
  • A minimum of Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field, and a minimum of three to five years experience in Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable or Bookkeeping, along with supervisory experience is required. 
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to follow-through on all areas of responsibility.  
  • Strong computer skills.  
  • Ability to work effectively with persons from diverse ethnic and professional backgrounds required.
